The "Cube", folk-art shapes of our Chamcha Wood Stools collection reflect a postmodern naturalist aesthetic. Hewn from a single block of sustainably harvested rain tree, or Chamcha wood, the fallen timbers are air dried for months, then kiln dried and hand curved to reveal a consistent finish. Each piece celebrates the natural grain patterns and striations inherent in the wood.

This item is artisan crafted with meticulous care. Given its handmade and hand-finished nature, variations in the wood are to be expected and celebrated. Each item is unique.
